A collaboration between Claude Jansen, Fabrice Mazliah and Sarah Bergh

For the workshop weekend "Dismantling the Doll's House" in February 2023, which explored the anti-racist treatment of puppets in theater and museum settings, the artists Sarah Bergh, Claude Jansen, and Fabrice Mazliah developed a performance loosely based on Marina Abramovic's "The artist is present," enabling a one-on-one encounter with puppets from the Puppet Theatre Collection. Equipped with thoughtful, witty, and poetic messages, the puppets challenge visitors to question stereotypes and the subject-object status.
